MAHJ for a REASON 2027

We cannot wait to gather with you for an afternoon of mahjong at our annual charity tournament benefitting the Child Advocacy Center of Mobile. Tricia Graham, Child Advocacy Center board member serves as chair of this event. Tournament play will be managed by Sabrina Alexander of Dots & Dragons Mahjong. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. so please plan to arrive early to allow time for check-in, your welcome drink and to get settled before we begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. We will have TWO tournament formats this year: COMPETITIVE PLAY: designed for players who already have experience playing American Mahjong and can complete one round of play (four games) in 60 minutes. • National Mahjong League 2026 Card (please bring yours) • 8 Jokers • No blank tiles SOCIAL PLAY: designed for players who know how to play American Mahjong. It is helpful if you have taken a 101 and 102 class or private lessons. • National Mahjong League 2026 Card (please bring yours) • Blank tiles and extra jokers are optional and will be available at the table.
